At MAGNA we have been pioneers in presenting our first analysis of the Social Return on Investment (SROI), a study carried out on all of our business activity. This analysis is part of a broad project to transform and improve business competitiveness from the perspective of Corporate Social Responsibility, and has been carried out with the following goals:

  1. Encouraging the active participation of MAGNA Stakeholders in the identification and measurement of the different elements of impact and return on their activity.
  2. Identifying a common base of interests, balancing what the company wants to achieve and what its stakeholders want to achieve, helping to maximize the social value.
  3. Knowing, quantifying and making visible the social and economic benefits that MAGNA brings to its environment, determining the economic and social return produced by each euro that it spends or invests as a company.
  4. Making progress to have tools and indicators with the potential to become standards that facilitate the measurement of the social, economic and environmental impact and return of companies in the mining-industrial sector.
  5. Having a complete SROI report of the activity of the company, with an analysis that details, describes and quantifies the social and economic return generated by the Company.
