Since 2018 Magnesitas Navarras has been involved in the LIFE 5 RefrACT project, a project whose general objective is to extend the paradigm of 4R to 5R (Reduce, Reuse, Remanufacture, Recycle and Reeducate) to the steel sector and the refractory market, achieving a comprehensive recovery of these materials (it is intended to increase the recovery of refractories up to 80% of the recoverable fraction).
