The deputy general director of MAGNA, Jorge Baños, participated last Friday in the event of delivery of diplomas of the Innovarse program of the Government of Navarra, which recognizes companies commited in matters of social responsibility.

The event, which this year has been held in the Zentral hall of Pamplona, was inaugurated  by the regional minister of Economic Development of the Government of Navarra, Manu Ayerdi, who stressed that it is very positive for organizations to “incorporate CSR into their strategy business because it is a tool that helps to achieve a more competitive economy”.

MAGNA has got this recognition for the second consecutive year. In its 2019 edition, the company has taken a further step with respect to the different phases of implementation of the Innovarse system, achieving a positive assessment in the category of action plans.

The InnovaRSE management system, created by the Regional Government, is a tool that facilitates the systematic incorporation of sustainability into a process of continuous improvement. It helps companies to incorporate aspects of social responsibility in their medium and long term strategy and in their daily operations in the short term. Specifically, it works on ten aspects in three dimensions of the company: economic, environmental and social, with a goal towards achieving sustainability objectives.
