Magnesitas Navarras S.A. (MAGNA) is a vertically integrated producer of magnesium oxide (MgO) based solutions and materials for the steelmaking, agriculture & livestock and environmental sectors.
We are a leading company dedicated to the mining, production and marketing of magnesite and its derivatives.
MAGNA offers the opportunity to take part in a long-term project with an important consolidated international company with more than 75 years of experience on the world refractories market. The company produces refractory masses of MgO for the steelmaking sector and supplies its customers with the machinery required for its application.
The Technical engineer provides comprehensive support to MAGNA in our Technical Assistance Service Team in the Algerian Market for its refractory area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support at the customers´ factories for the application of de refractory materials of the Company (product quality and performance, development of new applications and services, etc.).
- Service and repair of machinery.
- Stock control: Spare parts, machines and refractory material.
- Provide updated reports about the progress with the clients and the market.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
- Bachelor’s degree or technical school certification is recommended.
- 2 years of experience in similar position with industrial markets.
- Experience in refractory products preferred.
- Fluency in English and French language skills.
- Proven experience working with the Algerian market.
- Driving license.
- Availability to travel.
